Conveyancing
Conveyancing is an area of a law practice in which deals with immovable property. A conveyancer is an attorney who has passed the Conveyancing Exam and has been admitted as such by the High Court of South Africa. In order to deal with property transfers, bonds, servitudes and any other property related matters a Conveyancer is required to sign the Deeds to be passed by the Deeds Office prior to lodgement in the Deeds Offices. Further, being a specialist in property related matters all financial and practical aspects thereof are attended to by a Conveyancer. In addition to the Conveyancer, some acts of conveyancing, such cessions of exclusive use areas, require the certification by a Notary Public, who is also an Attorney who has written the Notarial exam and is admitted as such.
